This Painting Depicts A Portrait Of 34th Tactical Fighter Squadron F-16 78042 Of Hill AFB, Utah, Based 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, Stalking Two Aggressor F-5es In An Early Morning Air Combat Training Engagement On The Nellis Ranges North Of Las Vegas. I Had Flown Missions On Those Ranges On Numerous Occasions In The Late Sixties And Early Seventies. The 388th TFW At Hill Was The First Wing To Receive The F-16 And In Addition To That, Multinational F-16 Training Responsibility. It Is A Mission Ready Fighter Wing. I Was Privileged To Fly In An F-16b Of The 43th TFS On April 22, 1982.
