This theme is interesting to me, and also
very important in work. Your site became my constant satellite!

You are an awesome painter! Your use of only three colors, your command of descriptive geometry, and the preciseness of your paintings is amazing. Can you point me to a primer on descriptive geometry (preferably in airplane drawing) for dummies? I almost can follow your description in your book Aviation Art, but am stuck on a few questions.

I am pleased to say that I have a signed poster of "The Dawning," which I had purchased at an ABWA auction in the 80's. Your daughter, Nancy, had donated it when Nancy and I both belonged to that organization. Please tell her I said "Hello" and thanks for the special keepsake that I have.

Keith, every day I think of you as I pass my several Keith Ferris prints or research a song or two in our joint song book, The Wild Blue Yonder: Songs of the Air Force, Volume II. My friend Al McCree (Lt. Col. USAF), head man at Altissimo Records (militarymusic.com)will be in touch about a new music CD, a release of my old vinyl record of Air Force songs (with a picture of "Gallant Beginning" on the cover as you may remember). Hope all is well with you and you have not been caught in the floods.

Hi Keith, Long years of admiration and inspiration as you were the hallmark example for me in my aviation illustration career.Wish I could have studied with you as teacher. Hope all is well for you. I don't paint as many aircraft as I used to as I am in gaming art more now, but quite recently I did some paintings for Lockheed of the new Marine One helicoptor for the President. You have a wonderful website and I love all those images. Kudos to you and your wife.Best wishes, Doug Chaffee

I meet Keith in 1990-92? at NAS Miramar, where I worked as an illustrator for the Naval Fighter Weapons School. He was traveling with ASAA. What a delightful gentleman, very helpful with all my questions, and it was great to meet one of my heroes!

I have been an admirer of your unique aviation artistry for many years. I am about to retire after 40 years service with the RAF and I still treasure your book which I bought in the Berlin BX in the 80's. It was a joy to find this site. My thanks for bringing so many wonderful aviation subjects alive in a way that no photograph ever achieves. Sincerely, Ken
